The Lincoln Prophecy by Carter Hopkins

Dallas, Texas – May 24, 2017 – Dallas author Carter Hopkins will be at The Theodore (Northpark Center, 8687 N. Central Expressway #1804, Dallas, TX 75225) from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, June 1, 2017 for a meet and greet event to celebrate his novel, The Lincoln Prophecy. Appetizers and cocktails themed after the novel will be available at happy hour prices.

“I love that The Theodore hosts themed parties and I’m honored to have one for The Lincoln Prophecy. It’s fantastic to have a cocktail named after the main character! Anytime I can connect with my readers, that’s a great day, but it’s especially great when we can have a drink together,” says Hopkins, who often speaks at local book clubs.

The three hundred and twenty-five-page fictional thriller is set in Dallas, Texas and follows Southern Methodist University professor Michael Riley as he stumbles upon a murder in Rockwall, Texas and suddenly finds himself wrapped up in a national cybersecurity threat. An ordinary man thrown into an extraordinary situation, Riley works to solve the mystery of the murder while running from those who committed it. Notable Dallas-Fort Worth locations seen in The Lincoln Prophecy include the SMU Central Fountain, Peggy Sue’s BBQ, SMU Law School, Greenville Avenue, Snuffer’s, and G. W. Bush Presidential Library.

The Lincoln Prophecy is available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble for $12.99 and on Kindle for $3.99. Patrons can also purchase up a signed copy from the author himself at The Theodore at the event on June 1, 2017.
